The infamous quote by the fashion designer, Coco Chanel “Fashions fade, style is eternal,” has left such an impact in the fashion industry, the world itself and has left people questioning themselves whether they obtain style or simply is naturally born to the person. When you think about it fashion have drastically changed throughout the years, the decades, and the millennium; some things we love, others we loathed and some left you desperately pining over-the-fact that you were unfortunately not born in that time period. Whatever the case may be fashion is of great importance to all women and is remembered by photographs, videos, paintings, and my all time favorite in cinema.

Movies are what have kept people happy, lively, scared, angry, sad, and every other emotion you could think of. Films transport you to another time, another world, more of a dream fantasy really! In no particular order here are the top 7  fashion films that have changed history!

Who can beat the darling, Holly Golightly? This 50’s classic film has changed how we view Tiffany and Co. and Little Black Dresses.


2.    The Devil Wears Prada

We all have secretly dreamed of working in Vogue? Traveling to Paris? This movie was definitely a style transformation from Little Orphan Annie to Fresh Off The Runway Starlet.

No one does fashion like Cher! Her 90’s style made us adore fashion and shopping, even when she was only a high school student she made the hallway her runway!

Indeed  wise words to live by  Hollywood Actress, Marilyn Monroe’s , “Diamonds are a girl’s best friend”. This movie is just a historic fashion masterpiece!
